Job Summary: Prepares and records entries for assets, liabilities, income, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains the general ledger, prepares, analyzes, and discusses the month-end financial statements for the client portfolio, and makes recommendations as needed.
Essential Functions:
Records and maintains an updated list of assets ("Property Ledger") for each client to support them in the financial statements.
Analyzes, adjusts, generates, and publishes financial statements according to the frequency established in the contract with the client based on accounting operations and transactions in order to keep the client informed of their current financial status.
Discuss and analyze the financial status with the client based on the information obtained and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
Verifies and validates the information contained in accounting documents and transactions according to established standards and procedures in order to keep clients informed of their financial status.
Prepares all necessary documentation required by external auditors so they can efficiently conduct their financial audits for auditors, accountants, and clients.
Clarifies doubts, attends meetings with external auditors, and provides the necessary and requested information during audits.
Generates financial statements for clients and discusses them upon request.
Responsible for staying current with best practices related to their position, including those addressing information security and management issues.
Documents every service requested by the client through the task manager tool and ensures that it is completed.
Any other tasks assigned by your supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting
3 to 5 years of experience in preparation, analysis and discussion of financial statements
Experience managing client portfolios, preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Mastery of programs such as Microsoft Office, Peachtree and/or Quickbooks
Availability to work outside of regular hours and/or weekends
Organized and ability to work on time
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Environmental Conditions:
I work inside the building, with normal temperatures, air conditioning, good lighting, clean areas, and minimal risks.
Physical Demands:
Light work requiring minimal physical effort. It requires communication skills, coordination, and visual acuity.

Ability to be alert, abstract, analyze, calculate, catalog, classify, compare, coordinate, detect, edit, estimate, evaluate, interview, influence, inspect, among others.
